Unexpected event

Yesterday my husband rings me after work and asks if i want to have lunch out.  And i said yes. the lunch was very yummy.
After lunch its was nearly time to pick up my 8 year old from school.  I thought to myself i could do some shopping before i pick her up or i could just go and wait for a while.
So i just decided to go and wait or my 8 year old because i didn't want to be late.
I my surprise as i drive around the corner there was 3 police cars and a police dog van.
So i park the car and was wondering what was going on and was worried that the police were at the school.
Turns out it was the house right across from the school.  A women and her partner were fighting and a very young boy was caught in the middle very said because it was the young boy who was yelling out for help.
My daughter has a class close to the street and heard the whole thing.  My 8 year old was very scared when she got home.  Which is understandable.

What a great day

As you all know it was my birthday yesterday and i got very spoil t and loved every minute.
It was a bitter sweet day as i said good bye to two of my dogs that i walk, because there owner came back from holidays.  But that is why i do dog walking is to help those that go away and cant walk there dogs or a little while.
For the first time in my life i made a rainbow cake and it was very yummy. Very proud of myself.

It's my birthday

Yes it's my birthday another year older, I'm feeling every bit of my age today.
That aside because who want to really listen to me about my birthday me me me
no one.
So Big brother started in Australia last night and the house has been divided into two
the poor side and the rich side.  So it will be interested to see how that plays out in the next couple of days.

Lazy day Sunday

Because we had had a late night last night i thought i would sleep in and i did til 9 am and it was great,
I think my body really needed it.
The only thing did yesterday was clean my lounge room i spent the rest of the day in day with a really bad headache.  And was sleep by 8.30 pm that night. But had a really good sleep.

Bowling

Took my 16 year old bowling with some of her friends and boyfriend last night.
And they all have a good time.
The down side is we didn't get to sleep until after 12 am and i'm am so tired and hungry.
The great thing is my daughter is happy.

Winter

I love winter because you get to snuggle up to the one you love, drink a lot of hot chocolate mmmmm.
But i do now a lot o people don't like winter.
I guess or some winter makes it easier to get sick.
I almost made it through winter without getting sick, i now have a winter cold.
Which means for me a lot o hot steamy baths lemon tea with honey. And lots of attention. lol

Big Week

My daughter turn 16 this week. And because she turn 16 on Tuesday we are going out Saturday to celebrate with friends and family.  And i start thinking where has the time gone.  Feeling very old at the moment.
Am i the only one who feels that way.
The big shocker is the next Tuesday i turn 45. I had my day all plan out, the problem with that i life get in the way. Oh well such is life i guess.
